I was impressed with the format of this video. It has about 47 different grooves(rythmns), each of which Tommy describes and plays twice at separate speeds. This video is probably for drummers with at least a little experience, though. On the video, Tommy encourages the use of starting and stopping the video at the viewer's discretion. He's not intimidating whatsoever; he's supportive and encouraging. The majority of drummers will really enjoy this video. I know that I did.

Probably the best instructional and informational drumming dvd I've ever seen. It's not like the majority of them where it's basically the drummer showing off for 80% of the video. Highly reccomended for begginer and intermediate drummers.
