The actors, plot and story line fit like a glove. This movie really made you think about the plight of Africans and the far reaching effects of the AIDS epidemic. However, the story was much more than that. It truly was a story of one woman's courage, strength and determination to endure hardship and to care for her daughter in the face of death.

I enjoyed the movie. It was played so realistically I almost forget I was watching a movie. It felt more like a documentary without the annoying narriation. I learned the most from Yesterday when she forgave her momentarily brute of a husband of the lashing he gave her. To endure such a lifestyle and maintain your inner beauty and dignity is a true testiment to Gods healing grace.
