The movie was good, although it had some loose ends. There was a painfully obvious attempt at building an Oedipus story line, which worked great until Gael's character has the encounter with the father ... I never quite got the motivation on why it goes down the way it goes down. I thought the fact that the film was so erotic and dark with no nudity was quite an accomplishment. Overall the film has very original parts. However, it was never really explained to full satisfaction what the historical background was and the situation in Argentina that brought about all the kidnappings. To somebody that is not familiar with that part of history, this movie probably went way over their heads, which is a detriment to this film. Too bad it is too cryptic at times, which prevents it from achieving excellence ... as it is, the film is just a bit above mediocre.

Excellent Film about the recupercutions of the "Desaparecidos" era in Argentina. Good acting and story line of what occurred in Argentina during the early 70's during the reign of Juan Peron.
