Love blossoms in the even the most cold and unforgiving of places in this frank and startling prison drama from German filmmaker Joerg Amndreas. When young Dennis is arrested for credit card fraud, he is soon convicted of the crime and sent to serve his sentence at a maximum-security penitentiary. As each bleak day gives way to the next and hope quickly fades, Dennis' only reprieve from the pain of incarceration is the loving glance of a handsome, muscular inmate named Mike. As Dennis and Mike struggle to find time for their sexually charged rendezvous, the all-seeing eyes of the voyeuristic prison guards bear witness to their erotic escapades, and the warden shows sympathy for romantically involved prisoners who seek solace in sharing a cell. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

true, this movie is pretty bad(acting, plot, and set design, etc.), but who cares the guys are hot. this is from cazzo films, a producer of hard-core german gay porn, so really all this movie is is an edited hard-core gay movie with all the good stuff taken out. if you are looking for hot nude guys and a little more!!!,this movie is for you.

If you really like seeing guys dicks and balls for over an hour, this is the movie for you. I think the proper term is full male frontal nudity, whatever.

LOCKED UP has got to be the looniest gay love story/soap opera since the exquisite "Murder in Portland." This German not-so-soft-core features the funniest gays-in-prison tale since, well, gosh… ever. Looking suspiciously like it was filmed (for $1.98 or less) as hardcore and then cut down (only somewhat) for mainstream tastes, the film offers scenes as funny--unintentionally, but still hilarious--as any Hollywood comedy in the last decade. The montage in which the lovers move into their prison "apartment," kiss, dance and play basketball should have you prone, screeching with delight and pounding on the floor with outstretched palms. There's more, but I don’t want to spoil things for you. If only "A Chorus Line" has not already used it, "What I Did for Love" would make the perfect theme song here, particularly over the end credits. Zounds! This is one camp goldmine. And there's beaucoup full frontal, too.
