The drug results in his not being able to distinguish a past trauma from his current reality. He experiences himself intermittently living between the past and the present. Everyone seems to be after him, except for his cop girlfriend who wants to protect him. He's trying to understand what is going on. We understand he's in a very messed up situation. How can he overcome the drug and his pursuers and survive? An exciting action story. If you like action films that have a bit of complexity yet has a typical action hero result, this is for you. All I could think about, while watching this movie was, how could an A list actor with several blockbusters under his belt, accept these terrible roles. Does he need money??? Maybe we should start a Wesley Snipes Relief Fund and get this guy back on his feet. I rate this movie my own patented "Late-Wednesday-Night-Basic-Cable".
