Synopsis of The Occultist
Waldo Warren (Rick Gianasi) has been hired by the Caribbean nation of San Caribe to protect the president of their country while he visits the U.N. There is at least one assassination plot that he has to be protected from, and Waldo's job is to foil the plot and uncover the culprit. He's in for a real horse race, as one of the would-be assassins is the president's daughter, and at one point there are two attempts on the president's life going on at the same time. His efforts to cope with this take him into an underworld of voodoo-like neo-African rituals, cyborgs, and various extremely weird indiviuals. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
