This movie was awful. You may get some laughs out of the poor special effects and sound effects, but that's it.

Not one of your better zombie flicks at all. Had potential, as I liked the setting. However, the zombies are very fake looking, there's next to no blood, bad acting and voiceovers, and the "zombie attacks" are too few and far between.

Oasis of the Zombies is one of the worst movies ever made and, as such, is a gem of cinematic stupidity. The plot is not worth summarizing, but suffice it to say, it mixes two movie genres: (1) the treasure hunt; and (2) the zombie flick. The movie features several scenes where organ music is played while nothing happens. The zombies are always "introduced" by organ-type sound effects. The movie seems to be about organ music. In the end, the protagonists use gas tanks not to fill the jeep and get away, but to create a ring of fire around themselves to ward off the zombies.
