I just reviewed Lars Von Triers Breaking the Waves, it occurs to me if you like Lars this a little of the same stuff, a relentlessly dismal but well made movie about a family tragedy, good performances all around, heartbreaking stuff.

This movie was a huge disappointment because there are almost NO subtitles. So, unless you speak Japanese, don't both renting. After about 15 minutes I just ejected and sent it back. Total waste of money.
