I thought this would be a tourist-type DVD. It's not. It's more historical. It does show the current towns and castles but it's very heavy on the history of each area of Spain & the army or culture of occupation for the original castle. Then the narrator describes the subsequent history of the castle such as additions, redesigns.
The narrator has a charming accent but his voice lacks any drama, very bland presentation.
This DVD would be good for a student needing info for a presentation, or for homeschoolers looking for unit studies material.
