"Expecting Mercy" has such a terrific, suspenseful storyline and characters who immediately grab your interest that I would recommend it to literally anyone who has an appreciation for great films (be aware that the movie is rated R for some sexual content, adult situations, etc.). Don't let the cover fool you. It isn't one of those cheesy, gory horror films without a plot or purpose. This film is incredibly engaging and mysterious and is way worth the time and money of checking it out - and just wait until you see the ending! As a side note, this movie was filmed in my home state of Wisconsin and I had the pleasure of meeting the gifted Director of Photography behind it all, Robb Fischer. With such a talented team, I am crossing my fingers that Dave Hansen, John Ogden Jr. and Robb Fischer work together again to create another gem for us all to enjoy.
