It's one thing to watch a 30 minute episode of a latin soap opera where everyone sleeps with everyone and it turns out they're all related. It's another to sit through a 1 1/2 hour movie to tell the same story. More than half the movie is spent on the "traumatizing" life Simon had as a kid. The whole "rancho" storyline is too stereotypical, making it easy to guess the next turn in the plot.
Overall, a poor movie. The last 10 minutes are action packed, and there's even a guy-on-guy scene, but it still doesn't make up for the poor acting, horrible translation in the subtitles, and incredibly poor video quality where one can see the tape skipping from time to time (not a DVD problem).
