    Definitely a 'made for tv' movie...

    This miniseries lacked quite a bit. The special effects - they were decent for a made-for-TV movie. The acting - it could have been stronger and more passionate, and the characters lacked credibility. The editing - the "24"-like slip screens were not effectively executed. The story - there was no coherent plot. It was drawn out so long that insomniacs might find slumber watching this film. And I make this comparison: “10.5” is to “Armageddon” as “The Others” is to “The Sixth Sense”… that means it’s a rip-off of a more original movie.

    thank god i didn't rent this! This was beyond bad! I saw this whole thing on tv and it was a huge waste of time. It shamelessly rips of 24 with the spit-screen video but at least it made the poorly written, poorly acted scenes in between the special effects. The effects were mildly interesting but in no way do they warrant renting this waste of time. Its like they spent all the money on special effects and ZERO money on actors and a screenplay. If you had ANY problems with the movie The Day After Tommorrow do not rent this movie!! In fact just stay away blockbuster has 40,000 titles and this is not one worthy of looking at!
