This movie is a little slow at first, but interesting. It's pretty original, at least as far as WWII movies are concerned. However, the box art shows a squad of Skeletor-like warriors. Although there are plenty of ghastly looking Nazis and such, there are no skeletors.

Sorry to say this, but Straight Into Darkness, was also probably straight into DVD without stopping at the box office. I make it a point to watch the "Bonus Features". This Director was proud of the fact that there was no preperation for this film. Three weeks before filming started there were 13 pages of script!!! My God! I hope the investors at least made back their investment. The poor cast! There were some really talented people on this crew. If they had been given half a chance to suceed or excel, they would have performed better, and the rest of us would have had the good fortune of seeing a top notch film instead of a High School improv of a war script. I give everyone but the Director an "A" for effort, and the writer a pat on the back for actually finishing the script under such pressure to perform.

If I could I would try to get my money back. I should have read the reviews before renting. It could have been a good movie, but it lacked just about everything. Wish I could say more... not worth it even for free.
