I should have looked at reviews for this before renting. OK from a history perspective, but, no music.

Dido to the above review. What a dissapointment. No music at all, no film footage. Aweful stuff with no new interesting information. Stay away from unauthorized stuff. Look for VH1 Legends on Queen. Hopefull they'll put that out on DVD.

When you saw this selection I bet you thought, "now this is one I haven't heard of before..." but take heed: this is entirely UNAUTHORIZED: a fact which only became apparent when I received the disc. After enduring this 'documentary' for its entire one hour (yes, folks, it is almost exactly one hour long) I would strongly advise against watching this debacle. For starters the film has absolutely no Queen music! It has very bad "Queen-ish" original (elevator style) music i.e. the music tries to mimic some Queen hits but totally misses the mark and just sounds terrible. It only has about 30 seconds of actual Queen footage which is re-used ad nauseum and sans music (the rest is made up of photographs that are poorly animated). Its one saving grace is that there are interviews with former Smile frontman Tim Staffell, but these sections are few and far between. A very poor effort indeed.
