The special features are worth watching. The director and actors agree the film is about relationships. There are interesting relationships between parents and sons, brothers, roommates, heterosexual lovers, gay male lovers, and relationships between between of a different class and/or a different race. I had to watch the movie three times to realize all the nuances. Sometimes I kept the subtitles on and sometimes I turned them off. There is lots of frontal male nudity, three main characters and at least fifteen extras from the water polo team in the locker room twice. In the first two minutes, there's an intense sex scene between the main character, Paul, and his girlfriend on the evening of France's equivalent of the US July Fourth.

This movie was just too overkill for me. The opening was somewhat gratuitous for me, but everything went downhill from there. I can't recommend it for someone like me, but if you are desensitized to enough nudity, explicit homosexual scenes, and have no problem with a depraved-irrational bet, have at it.

Fantastic! These young adults have a lot of talent. The story is unlike any I've ever seen. Keeps your interest till the end.
