My kids enjoyed this movie more than the Ken Burns Lewis and Clark documentary. They liked that Sacagawea did the talking, and that the whole movie wasn't too long. This movie was a great way to introduce Lewis and Clark.

I highly recommend this account of Sacagawea for children of any age. The story is told from her point of view. You tag along as Sacagawea takes her historical journey. Two of my children, ages 5 and 8, were captivated with this 40-something minute presentation. Now they know who is pictured on the "gold coins" Daddy gives them for special accomplishments, and what role she played in our history.
