This one was not nearly as well done and the first movie. Then again, that always happens

This film did not match the quality of the original. It stretched credibility too much.

Luc Besson appears to struggle to create a plotline that holds together and doesn't steal scenes wholesale from other movies. Christopher Lee is terribly underused, and the MTV-style cinematography doesn't do the audience any favors. Reno and Magimel are fine, given the poor plot and undeveloped characters they must inhabit. Painfully excessive number of artsy / MTV mood shots break up what little storyline there is. The unbelievable ending is an even worse cop-out than the original movie's finale and reveal.
