    I hurt my back about a week ago, mostly due to the tightness in my hips so I checked out this DVD, hoping it would help. It's composed of around 12 exercises, mostly simple stretches to open up the hips and lower back. All of them are done on the floor, on your back and are very gentle. Don't get this if you're looking for a work out, but they helped me with my specific situation. The entire DVD is only an hour and allow plenty of time for each position. It does give you alternative positions for each stretch, but doesn't tell you why you would choose each. Even with a sore back, I was able to perform all but one exercise so I would imagine, appropriate for any fitness level or age.
