Murder Reincarnated (2003)
Member Rating:
In writer/director Gregory Corrado's second film, the supernatural thriller Murder Reincarnated (aka Minimal Knowledge, 2003), Cristián de la Fuente stars as Detective Matt Gallagher, an expert at identifying and hunting down serial killers. As the story opens, Matt's new partner (Henry Marshall) begins to mentor him, and they team up to investigate a series of killings of octogenarian women. The incidents suggest that the perpetrator harbors a deep and lingering hatred for his mother and is continually reenacting violence against the elderly victims who function as maternal surrogates. As the crimes begin to demonstrate eerie parallels to Matt's own life, Matt discovers that his girlfriend (Izabella Miko) is actually the reincarnation of his first love, who was run over by a truck. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi

Not a terribly exciting movie, but it was decent in some respects. There wasn't a single police car in this detective movie, ha ha. The detectives should have had the holsters that go around your chest and under your arms, not these hip holsters. I think these two things would have made the police more believable. Low budget for sure and boring at times.

The acting wasn't really good BUT all in all the movie , a low budget to boot, was enjoyable. The script can be better and it did drag but it has potential to be better. The lead couple are nice together. I feel something there and both the man and woman are attractive to look at, esp the man. It's funny and cutsey If only they could change a few things like the title back to the original one as the title does NOT fit the movie. It makes you believe the movie is more intense but it isn't.
