A splendid story. Very interesting to note that Angela Lansbury, the very, very lovely treacheous love interest of mutineer Patric Knowles, almost steals the story, but the ending is a little disappointing. Very entertaining and great for all audiences. I would have given it five stars, but then it was good but not fantastic.

Good story, lousy ending...Lansbury was too "dressed up" throughout the movie, but what a beautiful woman!

Once todays CGI spoiled viewers get past the simple models in a water tub scenes they will find the timeless storyline of Mutiny carries this epic film of love, betrayal, greed, redemption and patriotism does an amazingly good job of entertaining them. I was surprised at the depth of human character it was willing to expose on both good and evil. The cast does an admirable job of portraying conflicting human emotion and the fallibility of all. Although somewhat predictable it has a few plot twists to keep the viewer interested. Personally, I thought the ending somewhat rushed and incomplete but that's just my opinion. I'm not a nautical expert but the dialogue used and frequent scenes of shipboard life were very authentic looking and sounding. All in all a good seafaring flick.
