First, Tammi M., turn the disc over, the concert was on the other side. This was essentially a rock concert, which, despite the title, kind of took me by surprise. I was hoping for a bit more of the theatrical show. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the concert quite a bit. While the unusual sounds are initially very creative, they don't seem so much so after the third or fourth song. Even though the novelty wears off, the music and staging are still very entertaining. I really enjoyed the last few songs, and Venus Hum (and the accompaning light show) stole the show. The theatrical Blue Man show is a 5-star show. While reminiscent of the show, the concert really features only the music. It therefore lacks the humor and surprising creativity of the stage show.

Did you happen to know this is a 2 sided DVD? TO get the video, you have to flip the DVD. If you have not seen the blue man group, don't watch this DVD, see it live. This DVD is not as fun as the live show.

This was much better than I expected. Excellent tunes, well performed, cool visuals. Seeing this live must have been a real blast. This DVD comes in a close second. Try it!! (Be aware that this disk is double sided. You want the concert side!)
