Canadian writer/director Sudz Sutherland makes his feature debut with the romantic comedy Love, Sex & Eating the Bones. Hill Harper plays Michael, a Toronto security guard who wants to be a photographer. He spends most of his time at an adult movie store called Pornocopia, renting videos starring Lisette (Marieka Weathered). One day in a laundromat, he meets young urban professional Jasmine (Marlyne N. Afflack), who has been celibate for some time.     An interesting Canadian movie about a talented photographer whose addiction to porn is getting in the way of his work and with the relationship with his soulmate. Hill Harper's acting was very believable and I just found out that he is a Harvard grad. Beautiful Marlyne gives a good performance as the frustrated soulmate. This movie doesn't try to preach that porn is awful instead that an addiction to it, like other kinds of addictions, can distract the addict away from the more worthwhile things in life.

    This movie came on really late one night, and I fully expected to drift of to sleep after a few minutes - well surprise, surprise, I ended up staying up way past my bedtime to finish watching! This was an unexpectedly great film. It was very funny, well written and fairly well acted. I am hard to please when it comes to urban and/or romantic comedies, but I consistently laughed out loud throughout; I highly recommend this one!!

    I love Hill Harper! His leading lady in the movie makes the movie more entertaining. This is a low budget film though. I'm sure some fellas can relate to this character.
