Member Rating:
Directed by the prolific Rob Zombie, The Devil's Rejects is a sequel of sorts to 2003's House of 1000 Corpses, and picks up several weeks after House left off. This time, the clash revolves around the tribe of violent lunatics and decidedly valueless family members of the original film, who have come to be known as the "Devil's Rejects." After learning of the extended family's horrific attacks, a SWAT team is sent to take them into custody; all but their crazed Mama escape. In addition to creating a full-fledged media circus, this sends the sociopath housemates on the run, and they initiate a deadly road trip. Meanwhile, Mama has to deal with a violent, vengeful sheriff (William Forsythe). The Devil's Rejects features Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, Sheri Moon, Michael Berryman, and Ken Foree, among other cult horror regulars. ~ Tracie Cooper, Rovi

If you didn't get the fact that this is a parody of sorts, and is INTENTIONALLY over-the-top, that is your own fault. This movie is not for everybody, but it is very successful in what it attempts to do which is pay homage to the exploitation films of the 70's (much like Tarantino and Rodriguez's Grindhouse Double Feature attempted to do). This film is not for everybody, as (almost exactly) half of these reviews will demonstrate. You will either love it, or you will hate it.

Again, as you can see by the reviews, this series will either have you hating Rob Zombie films or loving them. If you liked "House of a Thousand Corpses" then this is a must see. If you did not like the first one then why are your watching this one?? This movie takes all the over the top look of the 1st movie out and really allows you to get into the characters that drew you in on the first film. Personally I thought it was a great sequel to the first. The chicken scene was one that I still laugh about when i think about it. Rob did a great job of somehow almost making you feel sad to see these nut jobs face their own demise.
