This is an amazing Ring Cycle. The Met orchestra is uncanny and rendered excellently in DTS surround. The vocal performances are unbelievable. With only a slight reservation to the sets, this is still the best Ring Cycle on DVD.

I loved this! The traditional perception is astonishing and breathtaking. The original intentions of the composer are fatithfully executed, unlike modernized productions which skew the meaning of the composer's work.
