this video is not for idiots who are too shallow to understand the qualities of animation for story telling and the raw emotion it is capable of presenting. if you think anything animated is best left to "the simpsons" or "family guy", this isn't for you. if you know that you are capable of watching animation without thinking back to saturday morning "cartoons", then this is a very interesting series of short stories, presented by several different directors and producers, which bridge the gap between the first matrix, and "reloaded", the second matrix movie. i found the stories touched on topics that were very different and creative, things they may not address in the movies at all, in some ways. if you love the matrix, or even like it a lot, and you can enjoy animation, this is a great rental, and i would recommend it to anyone interested.

This was an excellent addition to the Matrix Collection. Many of the stories were prequels to the live-action movie and served to tell the story of how the machines came to power. 'Beyond' is one of my favorites. There is something magical about that short film that I just love. 'Final Flight of the Osiris' is excellent as well. I highly recommend watching this if you are a fan of the other movies.
