Once again, i see another astounding thriller by Wes Craven and another fantastic acting job by Johnny Depp. I have been swept off my feet and the ending left me absolutely satisfied with the entire movie. With the twists and turns this story takes, it leads you down a guessing trail right to thrilling, heart-stopping end. This is definitely a keeper in my collection.

This movie was fair to good. I'm not a fan of Johnny Depp but this was a typical role for him. He is out there. I am a fan of Stephen King's books. I don't recall reading this story, but it was typical King. He is out there also. I'd say the movie is worthwhile watching.

fairly predictable, has nice suspense moments that typically goes with a Stephen adapted movie. the characters are well developed, except a few side people. johnny doesn't do as well as i would have hoped, his "disturbed" character wasn't nearly as pronounced as some of his other films. wish i could have seen deeper into his character. three stars. watch it, but don't buy it.
