An old cop friend of Andy Sipowicz (Dennis Franz) is the chief suspect in the murder of a pimp. Simone (Jimmy Smits) inadvertently passes this information on to his current girlfriend, a reporter. Elsewhere, Medavoy (Gordon Clapp) is put out when an former ice-skating beau of Donna's (Gail O'Grady) returns to New York.
