En route to Tokyo to celebrate her birthday, a sullen Margaret (Loretta Swit) is forced to "celebrate" with her driver Klinger (Jamie Farr) when their transportation breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Back at the 4077th, Charles is stuck with giving the lecture that the absent Margaret was supposed to deliver.
