I admit the reason I got the film was to become familar with David Hewlett's work. I wondered just how good a film could be that had a summary of a man getting muged, climbing a tree and won't come down could be? Boy was I blown away with surprise. The story seems a bit far fetched at first, but as it develops, it's not that far out in right field after all and the characters develop before your eyes into people you know or have known or can relate to on some level. David's performance as well as the rest of the cast is emotional, well rounded and insightful. Everyone learns something by the end of this film, even the audiance. The only reason it didn't get five out of five is because I so wanted there to be so much more at the end, but it leaves it to the watcher which can be good or bad; the ending still worth the journey and the time invested in watching it.

What a great movie, complex characters and great performances. David Hewlett is a little-known talent well worth looking into. Film is amazing, low budget, no big names, but moving nonetheless.
