I personally enjoy these biopics and found Meg Ryan to hold her own and Omar Epps to be convincing as well. Would recommend over much of the other crap that seems to make the Top rentals list.

I rented it because Meg Ryan was in it. I am not a fan of boxing, however, I really enjoyed this movie. I kept it so long because I had my sons watch it I thought it was soo good and they enjoyed it.

If you like the world of boxing then you will love this movie and it is even better since it is based on truth. The behind the scenes is good too. They should have had someone tougher than Meg Ryan though - someone more believable like perhaps Peg Bundy (Katey Sagal)would have been great!
