In what is arguably the most shocking third-season episode of Law & Order, NYPD detective Phil Cerreta (Paul Sorvino) goes undercover, posing as an illegal weapons buyer to nab an elusive Colombian hitman (Carlos Sanz). Things go horribly awry, and Cerreta is shot -- twice.
