In case you were expecting a stand up comedy show, this DVD set is compiled from a series of Q&A sessions he did at a bunch of colleges just after the release of "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back". That being said, he’s EXTREMELY funny and engaging as he (basically) chats with college fans. It would probably help if you have prior knowledge of his movies, but for those who don't, he's still pretty interesting. Not all questions relate to a specific film he did - he also talks about people in the "Hollywood hierarchy", their ridiculous methods, his “feud” with Tim Burton, the time he actually went to protest the opening of his own movie, "Dogma", and so on... It's sort of ironic that he's best known for playing a character that doesn't say anything, but in real life you almost can't shut him up - he's actually very articulate, has a lot to say, AND ISN'T BORING! Be aware that there's a lot of "R rated" language and subject matter, so don't watch it with your parents.

When I first saw this DVD cover, I thought it was a lame attempt to group some Kevin Smith clips to make an extra buck. However, I caught this on cable by chance, and it turned out to be one of the most hilarious things I'd seen. Kevin Smith is an extremely entertaining storyteller. He's had some bizarre experiences with various people in the industry such as Peter Guber and Prince, and he recounts all of his stories with great hilarity. This isn't exactly a stand-up comedy movie, but it's one of the best I've seen in that genre.

This is easily a classic of all director interviews. Though, this is a collection of his most famous speeches to college undergrads, it's very interesting to hear from a down to earth guy that's deep into the entertainment business. I highly recommend this to anyone that's interested in the movie industry or just liked his past movies (Jay and Silent Bob, Mallrats, Clerks, etc.)
