NO ONE WAS FUNNY. THESE WERE CLIPS FROM COMEDY CLUBS. NOT ONE OF THE FEARTURED COMICS MADE ME GIGGLE. BRAD GARRET WAS THE M.C. AND HE WAS BAD. HE MADE FUN OF BLACK PEOPLE. DON'T RENT THIS. RENT SOME OTHER COMEDY ACTS. THIS ONE AND ALL THE IMPROV D.V.D. 'S SUCKED.

To give you an idea as to how badly these acts died on stage, even in a room full of Quakers someone would have found a gun to end it. I love comedians. I still have records of stand-ups that I bought as a kid. I am a fan (to greater and lesser degrees) of most of the performers on this DVD. But, this DVD could be called, "Before they were funny." If you want to see what your favorite stand-up was like in his/her early days, fine - though a few were well into their careers - but do not expect (m)any laughs. The only one who was funny -- yet still at an early stage, and only if you like her otherwise -- is Janeane Garofalo.
