I rented this because it had Kerr Smith in it but once I started it i was glad that i had picked it up. It is a great thriller that had me sitting on the edge of my seat through out the whole thing. It maybe a little predictable but it is still a great movie that i plan to add to my collection. Rent it today you will walk away a very satisfied customer.

Decent low budget thriller, good job in the acting department, suspenseful enough to keep viewers interested. I liked the score. It doesn't outstay it's welcome either, short and to the point making it a fast paced film.

Tight and twisty is exactly what we want from a good thriller, and if writer/director Richard Gale had only been able to add some believability to his 90-minute PRESSURE, he might have had a nifty little movie. But when the good guys manage to escape while surrounded by cops, when a killer has his prey in the gun's sites but doesn’t shoot, when cops can only aim when it serves the script, and when the hero is helped out of harm's way at exactly the moment when he's about to be "offed" and by exactly whom we know is going to help him, well... these things do tend to lessen one's enjoyment. Too bad, because the film is full of good ideas not quite carried out (an inventive use of a gun freak/Unabomber type, for one) and performers who might shine, given better opportunity.
