I saw Kansas (with Molly Hatchett) back in 1978 and they sounded almost as good on this dvd! Steve Walsh does an amazing double keyboard performance making up for some of Kerry Livgren. I have a huge collection of concert dvds and this is one of my favorites.

Lot's of reunion bands are moderately good. But Kanas is much more than that. They are fantastic. Loved to have seen Kerry Livgren, but you can't have everything. Well crafted and the musicianship is still there. Puts most newer bands to shame. Progessive Rock at its best. The mixing could have been better during solo performances, but the sound quality is great. I was mesmorized! Get it!!

Sure, Kerry is MIA, but Steve Walsh makes up for it with a very energetic performance. I underestimated his role is this great band. Video and audio are fantastic and you will get turned on to Animusic in a big way. My only gripe is that because the stage is circular and the audience is usually seated, get you get too many views of geeky looking guys sitting on their butts. Kinda ruins the atmosphere of their powerful music. Nonetheless, get it if you are a fan!!
