Hard to imagine how they forgot to visit all of the most important sites in San Francisco, and instead went on a walking tour of gay areas (boring), a small bookshop owned by some 'beat' author(boring), a bus full of people who do performance art (amusing). She goes to chinatown but spends a lot of time ordering, eating and talking about obscure chinese food in some hole in the wall diner. She does go to Alcatraz, and her visit there dwells on an arranged in cell interview with a former inmate - very touchy feely 'bonding with the ex-con' type of segment. Another 'highlight' is going to a club where they do 'poetry reading'. None of the major museums are mentioned nor are the waterfront/wharf and many other popular destinations. This may be a leftists idea of a san francisco vacation but I am pretty sure it is not what most Americans want to do on a brief visit to San Francisco.

This DVD was worthless. It does not show what San Fran is really about. All is shows is the homosexual areas and the goofy areas of the 60's. On top of that, it's just boring. A waste of a good DVD.
