As a big fan of English period pieces this one started rather slowly but if you keep watching, "The Mallins" will draw you in. I am on the last DVD of the series and I hate top see it end. I'm probably the only person in the world who has ever rented this DVD collection but I have enjoyed the gorgeous scenery of Northern England and the dramatic soap opera lives of the Mallins.
