If you are looking for a movie of early Elvis performances, better keep looking. This is not it. This is a cheaply made video, and it seems to feature all the throw away material that other producers didn't want. You'll see Elvis in a comedy skit on the Steve Allen Show, which isn't very funny and seems to go on and on. And you'll see him chatting with Milton on the Milton Berle Show. AND you'll see a whole lot of Elvis movie trailers....the promos for the movies. But no performances. If you want to see his dynamic early performances, rent Elvis '56.
