Rarely do plays, Broadway or otherwise transfer well to television or film. This is no exception. While it's interesting to see now-famous stars in this genre, plays require a bit more melodrama and/or energy to succeed on stage. This is no exception. The melodrama seriously wears me out in its short 50 minutes. Waste of a rental, I suggest unless you can stomach excessive melodrama and overplay, avoid any of these transfers. This is further underlined in the fact that I'm writing this review, cooking, and training my bird while this "film" is currently playing. It's just too intense a transfer to focus on much less hope to be entertained.
