    Great set list, great mix and an orchestra that appears to be composed almost entirely of beautiful girls. Yes' music lends itself perfectly to orchestral arrangements. Highlights: Close to the Edge, In the Presence Of, Magnification. Yes' "Magnification" album (this was done during that tour) is an undiscovered gem. Tom Brislin is a good stand-in for Rick Wakeman. Definitely worth a listen!

    Yes Symphonic captures Yes on their Magnification tour with a full orchestra, but don't think the orchestra makes this a gimmicky, different version of a Yes concert. It is a superb, electric Yes concert with the added excitement of an orchestra. The performance and music are outstanding, exciting, and moving. (It includes Gates of Delirium & Ritual from the Relayer / Tales years, and the 3 "Magnification" songs are very good.) Audio and Video are first rate, and no dizzying MTV hyper-editing. It captures the musical excitement of an enthralling YES experience. I have been to 15 Yes concerts since their Relayer tour in 1975. We have Yessongs, but unfortunately there is no high-quality concert DVD that fully captures Yes in their glory years. But we do have Yes 30 years later, making wonderful new music and still playing their classic music with fire. Yes Symphonic is absolutely first rate - a must for any Yes fan.
