This sequel to cult classic Zeram once again centers around Iria (Yuko Moriyama), a beautiful bounty hunter on a visit to earth. Unbeknownst to her, Iria has unwittingly brought a Zeiram alien to earth -- her assistant combat android was implanted with a malevolent alien brain rather than a costly tactical system. Before long, the alien has taken control of the android and sets off to terrorize Iria and her friends Teppei and Kamiya. I vaguely remember the first Zeiram so I decided the rent Zeiram 2. I was highly let down as the movie started out as a good Japanese B movie, but the corny dialogue and awful fight choreography at the end destroyed it for me. It's still worth the rental if you are into this genre of film.
