Member Rating:
Steve Oedekerk, who directed the popular Star Wars parody Thumb Wars: The Phantom Cuticle, puts his hands on another popular film with this spoof. Three student filmmakers -- who just happen to be thumbs with animated faces -- get lost in the woods, and as they try to make their way back to civilization, they're faced with a number of spooky (and funny) setbacks. When not busy satirizing popular films with a cast of thumbs, Steve Oedekerk has written screenplays for a number of big-screen comedies, including Patch Adams, The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, and Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

The Blair Thumb is obviously a spoof on the Blair Witch Project. The thing about it is that the Blair Witch Project was actually funnier. I laughed almost the entire time I watched BWC and only about half the time that I watched TBT. TBT was very funny at times.
