This is a good vs evil type of film that attempts to express that love is the ultimate good. And as far as taht goes, it accomplished its goal. But not much more. The script is weak, as is the acting. The actors were stereotypical cardboard cut outs of characters. The directing was weak as was the special effects. The very worst part of the movie was the ending, which limped through a climax that was anything except. I dont recomnd renting this video.

usually like sci-fi; even when not the best, but this movie is really bad. Acting, plot, no climax.....not worth renting.

Not the world's greatest Sci-Fi movie, but it has a different slant on things. The idea--an alien "something" that may have been responsible for life on Earth--is interesting. The acting is fair and the special effects are not all that special, but it was a way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed it.
