An excellent training tool for modern dance movement and warm up. The DVD isn't presented like an aerobic video, most movements are shown by more than one dancer facing in different direction, doing the same movements simultaneously, so the viewer can see how each movement should look from different angles. There is a voiceover explaining the finer points of the Lester Horton technique. This video can be used as a warm up by loosely following the dancers movement. Moves taught are flatbacks, primitive squat descent, lateral stretches and release swings, leg swings, deep lunges, fortifications, achilles stretches, plie stretches, lateral stretch, lunge stretches, hip propulsion, coccyx movements, elementary balance, 5/4 swing, and dimensional tonus.
