Chang Cheh, who directed some of the Shaw Brothers Studio's finest martial arts flicks, spins this low-budget horror yarn. Best friends Joey and Gary cause a massive battle that takes the lives of their fathers. Joey manages to get away, only to fall into a big hole that leads to hell. There, the Black Prince makes him an offer: He will save Gary from eminent death at their hands if he will let the dreaded nine demons of the underworld inhabit his body, a pact to which Joey reluctantly agrees. Gary is saved and Joey returns to the real world with new freakish powers and a hunger for blood. Soon, their attackers are all dead, killed by horrifying flying skulls with sharp teeth.
