the movie shows how complex it is to live on death row. it shows the struggles that one has to overcome to be close to someone you know is going to die.

This movie has so much more depth to it than what you see on the surface. It is about life and the choices you make no matter how tough you had it growing up. Both the inmate on death row and the guard who became his friend had demons inside to deal with. Good movie.
