A group of young adults attends an all-night rave only to discover it's a trap for a satanic cult that requires flesh for bloody sacrifices. After a night of being chased by masked members, the would-be victims find sanctuary in a small town and report their findings to the sheriff (Tim Thomerson) and Minister Seth (Patrick Bergin, whose name is misspelled on the DVD box). Big mistake. It's up to Susan (Ashley Jones), the last of her friends not captured, to put an end to the rivers of gore by battling the cult members on their own violent terms.

Started out really good. Acting was low budget looking at times. Middle was still pretty good, then the end was pretty stupid with the cult ceremony. Horror fans may be somewhat entertained.

Extraordinary! Devil's Prey is a groundbreaking film that dramatically redefines the limits of the modern horror genre just as it courageously questions long-held popular assumptions in American cinematography. Bradford May's carefully orchestrated masterpiece defies our expectations for a simple Satanic cult film, acheiving a result of enormous cultural significance: above all, May analyzes the nuanced particulars of religion in America from both the sociological vantage as well as an individualist perspective. Through it all, Eric's exclamation in the gripping cabin assault scene effectively characterizes the entire film: "This is supernatural [excrement]*, man!" *Editted for content

The first time I saw this movie, it was OK. However, I've accidently re rented it several times since then, and the more I watch it the less I like it.
