The Fairy Faith (2001)
Member Rating:
Fairies have appeared in many cultures, including that of the ancient Celts, and Shakespeare utilized them in his plays. If you enjoy fairy legend and hearing other people share their experiences, then you will enjoy this. It goes into a lot of detail and description of what fairies are, and where they come from.

I love fairies and loved this documentary as it involves two of my favorite countries Scotland and Ireland as well as fairy lore. I ordered to rent this online as an attempt to the process of studying both of these two countries and am loving the journey of research along the way. There is some beautiful art work and lots to think about in your faith of the supernatural or just for fun. It is fair done although rather boring in some aspects the content is enriching.

This movie did not contain as much information about Fairy lore or myths about fairies. However, it does contain abundant amounts of personal accounts. Some of the people being interviewed believed what the were saying, some I was a bit iffy on. It did however make me want to admit I believe in fairies. If all else fails, if you enjoy looking at lush scenery of rolling hills and trees, then this movie is worth it just for that. It made me want to visit the places portrayed.
