In the second episode of the four-part story "The Horror of Fang Rock," the Doctor (Tom Baker) and Leela (Louise Jameson) investigate the mysterious goings-on in the British coastal village of Fang Rock in the early 1900s. A strange object, falling from the sky, has already killed one of the lighthouse keepers. No one yet realizes that this event is but the prelude of a full-scale invasion by the alien Rutans.
