Bound was obviously the inspiration behind this Japanese style thriller with more twists and turns than you can shake a stick act. Miho Nomoto and Aya Nakamura portray two women who are thrown together by fate and hatch a plan to not only get rich, but to get back at the people who made their lives miserable. The interesting thing is that they don't know who to trust, including each other and as their plan goes into motion, it sets off a chain of events that lead up to a nail-biting climax. Definitely one of Miike's greatest works!

Disappointing, especially from Miike. Skip this one, even if you like other Miike films. Sort of typical yazuka stuff, with a boring lesbo twist between two (as always - victimized women) - that just doesn't work (on many many levels). Can't think of any redeeming feature - oh, there was a nice ... no that was a different film....
